There is a point of view that the six day creation included the angels. I want to explore this possibility a bit in this topic and give my opinion. The events surrounding angels shed a great deal of light on creation. It helps us to understand something of when it was and the society that existed before man. In addition to that subject there is much more to be said on the subject of creation.
The Morning Stars
Angels did not exist from eternity. They were formed or made.
We also find in Colossians and Revelation:
Even though angels and demons were not created in the sense of the word used in Genesis, God still pre-existed them.
God created everything primarily to give them pleasure.
As a matter of fact this verse takes a lot of the pride out of man because some religious leaders preach that the Earth was created for man. No it was not! It was created for God's pleasure along with everything else.

Satan Existed at Creation
We have seen that the morning stars or angels were there at creation. The Serpent existed in the Garden of Eden and showed the characteristics of Satan. There is no creation story for them there and all evidence suggests that they pre-existed mankind c.f. there is no on the x day God created the angels
.
I think that it is useful to note that this word is also translated as to divine
(meaning to see the future or use enchantments) and brass
. The root word does not mean to crawl on ones belly or be a trickster but it does have to do with fortune telling. God told Adam and Eve their future and Satan decided that there was another future. This is what the word is about and that is why he is an adversary. He has decided on his own interpretation of the future in opposition to God.
The serpent is clearly said to be Satan.
We know that Satan existed in the Garden of Eden. There is no mention of his creation. The indication is that he existed before creation but where did he reside? If he resided on Earth then that clearly shows that it predated the creation of man by a significant period. The reference to the morning stars in Job can only apply to angelic beings so there is a powerful argument that angels, including Satan, pre-existed the earth.
If that is true then In the beginning
is not the beginning because it does not mention the creation of angels.
We do not know when Cain and Abel were born but we can trace Seth
So Seth was born when Adam was 130. At this time they had had adult children (Cain and Abel) who had established their own livelihoods and one had killed the other. I would go as far as to say that the reading suggests that Seth was born quite some time after Abel died. Let us say ten years. Adam and Eve had no children in Eden so all these children were born after they left. Let us say another ten years and then they had become adults providing for themselves. Make that thirty years old. That makes a total of fifty years leaving eithty years that Adam and Eve spent in Eden. What some people want me to accept is that God was just cooling out for a gazillion years and nothing happened. Then in six days He decided to create a universe with humans and angels after which all hell breaks loose. Within 80-100 years Lucifer rebels and entices a third of the angels into rebellion and war. God flattens them in a war that involved Michael the archangel. Satan was swatted back to earth where he settled into the role of adversary and finally turned his attention to Eve. No! It all happened before man was created. Therefore angels existed before the present Earth was created.
